OptiTip® Cable Assemblies

Category Overview

OptiTip Cable Assemblies are U.S.-made, pre-terminated rugged connectors for OSP builds—trunk, harness, or pigtail—factory tested for low loss, IP68-rated.

NetSource’s OptiTip® Harness Assemblies, manufactured in the U.S., provide a pre-terminated, plug-and-play solution designed to connect multiport terminals, other OptiTip® cables, or directly to RRUs, with breakout ends also suitable for routing to patch panels for flexible integration. Featuring a rugged OptiTip® MT connector on one end and LC or SC breakouts on the other, these assemblies enable fast deployment for fiber-to-the-x (FTTx), broadband, and wireless networks. Available in round or flat cable designs, with custom breakout lengths (6″ to 48″) to accommodate a wide range of remote radio units (RRU) manufacturers and equipment requirements. The 2mm and 3mm breakout jackets can be specified with indoor ratings for LGX-style applications or with outdoor ratings for harsher environments.
NetSource’s OptiTip® Pigtail Assemblies provide a fast, dependable solution for network expansions, upgrades, and repairs. Each assembly features a factory-installed OptiTip® connector on one end and bare fiber on the other for splicing into existing fiber infrastructure. These pigtails offer flexibility for fiber-to-the-x (FTTx), broadband, and wireless applications.
NetSource’s OptiTip® Trunk Assemblies offer a 12-fiber, factory-terminated solution designed to streamline backbone and drop cable deployment in fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) and wireless networks. These assemblies feature rugged OptiTip® connectors at both ends for quick, plug-and-play installation. In addition to standard deployments, they can serve as extender cables, providing a simple way to bridge connections between terminals or between terminals and active equipment. This flexible design helps reduce installation time and supports future network growth.
