Hardened Fiber Terminal

NetSource’s Hardened Fiber Terminal (HFT) provides a rugged, field-accessible fiber distribution solution designed for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) broadband networks. The HFT creates an accessible distribution point between the feeder network and subscriber drops, supporting fiber splicing, splitting, and hardened drop connectivity. Designed for outside-plant applications, it supports up to 8 OptiTap®-compatible hardened ports, integrated fiber routing and splice management, and flexible PLC splitter configurations. Its field-accessible design simplifies service, network expansion, and future network changes while helping keep fibers organized and protected. With flexible cable entry and multiple mounting options, the HFT can be deployed in strand, pole, pedestal, or ground-vault installations, providing a versatile solution for expanding fiber access networks.
