Product Overview

NetSource’s Pre-Terminated Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Cable Assemblies provide a rugged, factory-configured solution for OSP deployments. Designed for rapid installation and long-term reliability, these assemblies are terminated with SC or LC connectors and built using flat drop cable (toneable or dielectric), round OSP cable (armored or non-armored), or Rapid Outdoor Cable™ (ROC™)—a flexible, all-dielectric design engineered for quick, low-friction installations in tight or congested environments.  Each assembly is custom-built and fully tested to meet customer requirements, including breakout type, jacket style, and optional pulling eyes. Commonly used to extend fiber from the distribution network to the customer premises, these cables are ideal for aerial, direct-buried, or duct applications—ensuring reliable, long-term performance in harsh outdoor conditions. 
  • Connector Types: SC or LC with a UPC or APC polish
  • Fiber Type: Single-mode (G.657.A1 or B3 bend-insensitive), OM1, OM3, OM4
  • Cable Jacket Types: 
    1. Flat Drop: Toneable or Dielectric 
    2. Round OSP: Armored or Non-Armored 
  • Breakout Sizes: 900μm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm 
  • Breakout Jacket Types: Indoor, Outdoor, or Indoor/Outdoor rated 
  • Pulling Eye: Optional (available on either end) 
  • Testing: 100% optically tested for insertion loss and return loss 
  • Operating Temperature: -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F) 
  • Storage Temperature: -40°C to 75°C (-40°F to 167°F) 
  • Installation Temperature: -30°C to 70°C (-22°F to 158°F) 
  • Polyethylene (PE), UV-resistant for outdoor applications
  • Custom cable assemblies engineered for your specific application
  • Dielectric design eliminates bonding and grounding requirements
  • Toneable version includes a conductor for buried cable detection
