OptiTap® Splice Terminals

Product Overview

The OptiTap® Splice Terminal (OST) is a hardened enclosure used for fiber splicing and drop connections in broadband networks. The OST supports OptiTap®-compatible hardened drops and includes splice trays for organizing fiber. The terminal is used in aerial, pole, and below-grade locations for distribution points, drop work, and repair activities in new or existing builds.

  • Splice: 4 splice trays, 24 fibers per tray (96 total fibers)
  • Splitter: 4 PLC splitters
  • Input: OptiTap compatible hardened adapters
  • Output: 2 feeder cable ports (10mm-17.5mm)
  • Sealing Method: Mechanical gasket with compression-based closure system
