Fiber Cassettes provide modular breakout solutions for MTP® trunks to LC/SC interfaces, enabling flexible high-density fiber connectivity in data centers.
NetSource’s SOURCE+ HD Series MTP® Cassettes are engineered for high-density fiber applications, delivering efficient and compact connectivity in space-constrained environments. Designed to accommodate up to 96 LC fibers per rack unit (1RU), these modular cassettes break out MTP® trunk cables into LC or SC connections, simplifying fiber management and speeding up installation.
The HD Series supports 8F, 12F, and 24F MTP® ferrules and integrates seamlessly with SOURCE+ trunks, enclosures, and patch cords to provide a complete plug-and-play solution. With standard and low-loss options, as well as support for Method A, B, C, and universal polarity configurations, NetSource HD cassettes are ideal for 10G/40G/100G network migration.
NetSource’s Ultra High-Density (UHD) 1RU enclosure provides a compact, flexible, and performance-driven fiber management platform designed to optimize rack space and network scalability. Supporting up to 144 fibers in a single 1RU enclosure, this solution reduces rack space requirements while maintaining reliable optical performance and minimizing cable pathway congestion. Each UHD-1RU enclosure accommodates up to six 24F LC-to-MTP® cassettes, making it ideal for data centers, telecom networks, and enterprise environments demanding high-capacity fiber connectivity in a limited footprint.
NetSource’s SOURCE+ SD1 MTP® Cassettes, manufactured in the U.S., offer a reliable and flexible interconnect between high-density MTP® trunks and LC/SC patching interfaces. These factory-tested cassettes break out 8F, 12F, or 24F MTP® connections into individual single fiber connectors and are ideal for structured cabling and high-performance data center deployments. The SD1 footprint fits up to 72 fibers in 1RU, supporting OM3, OM4, and singlemode networks, including 40G and 100G applications with MTP®-to-MTP® conversion options.
To support evolving network designs, SOURCE+ SD1 cassettes align with polarity methods A, B, and C and are available in universal configurations, enabling easier migration and simplified trunk/cassette interchangeability. When paired with SOURCE+ trunks, patch cords, and enclosures, these cassettes deliver a complete end-to-end optical system backed by our systems warranty.
