PLC Splitters
Category Overview
Splitters are a critical component in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks, distributing optical signals from a single input to multiple outputs. NetSource offers a range of ruggedized, indoor, and bare PLC splitters to support various network environments and installation styles. Built for reliable signal transmission and long-term performance, these splitters simplify network expansion while maintaining optimal fiber protection and organization. Available in multiple formats to meet both outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) requirements.
NetSource’s Premium Bare PLC Splitters are used for fiber distribution in splice trays for outside plant (OSP) and central office applications. These splitters have splice-only inputs and outputs and are available in 250 µm or 900 µm formats for flexible routing. They support fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and other access network builds and meet GR-1209 and GR-1221 optical performance requirements.
NetSource’s Connectorized PLC Splitters are used for inside plant and central office applications where connectorized outputs are required. The input fiber is spliced, while the pre-terminated outputs provide connector access in trays or panels. These splitters support fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and other access deployments and meet GR-1209 and GR-1221 optical performance requirements.
NetSource’s Ruggedized PLC Splitters are used in outside plant environments, including pedestal and terminal placements. These splitters have a protected housing for environmental exposure and use splice-only inputs and outputs. They support fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and broader access network builds and meet GR-1209 and GR-1221 optical performance requirements.
